Agrıculture Superstitions

Image
In the pictures below, you will see an old woman shoe :) Yes, it's an old shabby woman shoe... If we are talking about agriculture in Antalya, we should also talk about superstitions. Espacially traditional farmers believe in evil eye. In order to protect themselves and their lands and of course crops from evil eye, they make the use of different materials. Old shoes are one of these objects. It means 'Bana değil;ayakkabıma konuş:)' in Turkish and in English we can say that it means You have the evil eye so don't look at me in the eye;you can only talk to my shoes :) I love that kind of real life beliefs like hanging shoes in the trees and realias like old woman shoes.I hope, you also love it :))

Salih T. Yuva İho-İslamlar Granaries There are a lot of granaries in İslamlar Village,Antalya. They are ancient heritage for us from the history. In addition, they are ancient buildings of farming which are still standing strongly. They are about 1600-1700 metres high from sea level. You can go there by tractor or estate car because the slopes can be steep. I think, they should be protected and kept safe for the future generations and of course for us. Antiphellos Ancient City

Image
GÜLAY KAHRAMAN YUVA İMAM HATİP ORTA OKULU Antique City is one of the most important historical ruins of Kaş. The ancient theater has survived up to these days. Thanks to ıts survival, we can still go and travel there. The theater had a capacity of 4000 people and was built in the 1st century BC and repaired in the 2nd century BC. In addition, it is still used in the concerts and theatral plays. The theater is very close to the sea. The structure is the only theater with its facade towards the sea. So it is unique with this feature in Turkey. The ancient theater is a 5-minute walk from the center of Kaş. This structure was built by cutting a natural rock. The height of the building is 3.5 meters and there are girl figures dancing on the inner walls.
