Cucumber (Cucumis sativus) is a widely grown vegetable all around Turkey. It is widely grown in Antalya as well. It is one of the mostly consumed vegetables as well. It comes originally from South Asia. It has a very important role in global market. Cucumber pickles are also very common and popular around the world. World Health Organization also advises people to consume cucumners because it is very healthy. I generally like eating cucumbers with tomatoes. Also in the breaks at school, I sometimes eat cucumbers.
